Dr. Clark is Board Certified in Ophthalmology and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. She specializes in medical and surgical ophthalmology and offers complete eye exams to diagnose and manage chronic dry eye, glaucoma, diabetes and eyelid growths. She has a special focus and interest on cataract surgery.
She studied sports medicine at Pepperdine University in Malibu, CA, and continued her education at The Ohio State University’s College of Medicine. She is board-certified in ophthalmology and is a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
Dr. Clark is highly competent in all aspects of medical and surgical ophthalmology. She sees patients of all ages, from pediatrics to geriatrics. Her scope of practice includes cataract and eyelid surgery, glaucoma laser surgery, removal of foreign bodies, vision testing for glasses and contacts, treatment of dry eye syndrome, excisions of cancerous and benign growths, management of glaucoma (high eye pressure), diabetes, macular degeneration, and various corneal diseases, treatment of eye infections such as conjunctivitis (pink eye), stys and contact lens-related infections. Dr. Clark also specializes in the management of pediatric eye diseases such as strabismus and amblyopia.
She lives in Dalton, Ohio, with her husband, Dr. Shane Clark, and their three daughters. They enjoy spending time outdoors, hiking, gardening, farming and exercising in their free time.
